Yes. The new campus marks a major milestone for EFI Tirana. It features over 5,000 m² of land, more than 3,000 m² of dedicated educational spaces, two separate buildings for optimized school organization, larger outdoor areas, and more specialized rooms. This expanded capacity will sustainably support the growth of EFI Tirana while keeping class sizes on a human scale (total capacity of 400 students).

Yes, the new classrooms are more spacious, brighter, and perfectly tailored to modern teaching methodologies. They will provide greater comfort for students and offer more flexibility in lesson planning. These new layouts will also facilitate small-group work, collaborative projects, and interdisciplinary activities.

No. Starting in September 2026, the École Française Internationale de Tirana will enjoy exclusive use of the entire campus, its buildings, and all facilities. The university that previously occupied part of the premises will permanently vacate the site over the summer. Therefore, all spaces will be entirely dedicated to EFI Tirana and its students.

Yes. Having two distinct buildings allows for a more structured organization between different grade levels, providing each key stage with facilities tailored to its specific needs. This setup will also improve student flow, lead to smoother overall school operations, and ensure a more comfortable learning environment. Administratively, this layout is a major asset as it will allow EFI Tirana to apply for an Albanian high school license. This development aligns with our long-term growth strategy and will further strengthen the educational opportunities offered by our institution.

Yes. Student safety remains our absolute priority. The new campus features controlled access, fully fenced perimeters, secure traffic flows for students, and facilities tailored to emergency and evacuation procedures. Furthermore, this site has a long history in education and has hosted schools for many years. All necessary administrative procedures are currently being finalized to welcome students in full compliance with both French and Albanian regulations.

Yes. Accessibility is a priority for EFI Tirana. The new campus was specifically chosen to offer a more inclusive and accessible environment for our entire school community. Our goal is to ensure that every student, parent, and visitor experiences welcoming conditions adapted to their needs.

No. The relocation only impacts our infrastructure. EFI Tirana’s educational identity remains exactly the same. Students will continue to benefit from the official French National Education curriculum, French Ministry of Education accreditation, Cambridge International programs, a multilingual education (French, English, Albanian, and other languages depending on the grade level), personalized support, and a pedagogy centered on academic excellence, international open-mindedness, and student well-being. Our ambition remains unchanged: to offer every child an exceptional education in an international environment.

Yes and no. As it does every year, EFI Tirana continues to grow by recruiting new teachers to support the school's expansion and enrich its educational offerings. However, moving to a new campus does not change our teaching quality or educational continuity.

No. School hours will remain unchanged, allowing families to keep their usual daily routines. All practical information regarding the start of the school year, campus access, and transportation will be shared ahead of the first day of classes.

Yes. The school bus service will continue. Routes will be optimized to serve the new campus as efficiently as possible. Our goal is to provide simpler and more comfortable commutes for students. The new routes and schedules will be shared with families before the start of the school year.

Yes. The new campus represents a major leap forward for sports at EFI Tirana. Students will benefit from a covered multi-sport complex of over 600 m², allowing them to practice sports all year round, regardless of weather conditions. This facility will provide ideal conditions for Physical Education (PE) classes, sports meets, school tournaments, and school-wide events. Beyond mandatory classes, EFI Tirana will gradually expand its extracurricular sports offerings. The first disciplines available will include Football, Basketball, and Volleyball. Our ambition is to use sports as a true driver of educational success, promoting health, well-being, teamwork, respect, and self-improvement.

Yes. The new campus will feature dedicated spaces for creativity and artistic expression. Students will have access to a fine arts room, a music room, and a multi-purpose hall for shows, concerts, exhibitions, and conferences. These new areas will allow us to develop more interdisciplinary projects, performances, and cultural events throughout the year.

Yes. The new campus will enable us to progressively offer a richer and more diverse selection of extracurricular activities. Thanks to the new infrastructure, students will be able to enjoy activities in various fields (sports, arts, music, languages, science, digital technology, themed clubs, etc.). Our goal is to make the campus a vibrant community hub where students can learn, thrive, and explore their passions beyond regular school hours.

We cannot wait to welcome families to their new school! Before the start of the school year, several preview days will be organized so that students and parents can tour the campus, meet our teams, and get familiar with their new surroundings. These visits will also showcase the new infrastructure, specialized rooms, sports facilities, and various services. All dates will be shared with families over the summer.

The coming weeks will be dedicated to preparing the new campus to welcome students under the best possible conditions. Key steps include remodeling and upgrading the site, installing furniture and educational equipment, setting up specialized rooms, moving educational resources, preparing classrooms, conducting final administrative and safety checks, welcoming and onboarding new teachers, and organizing family tours. Everything is being done to ensure that from day one, students find a welcoming, functional, and ideal learning environment.
