Tuition fees and scholarships

The French government may provide financial support in the form of scholarships to children of French families living abroad. These scholarships are offered by local committees established in diplomatic or consular offices and are awarded by a committee.

To benefit from French government scholarships, the child must:

• be a French national and registered, or have a pending registration, with the French consulate;
• attend a recognised French educational institution and live with his or her family in the same country as the institution he/she is attending.
